Report: Milan duo worth €70m on Spurs wish list as Mourinho eyes fix for major issue

Krzysztof Piatek is not the only AC Milan player Spurs are considering a move for this month, if reports from England are to be believed.

Nicolo Schira of La Gazzetta dello Sport reported on Sunday that Piatek’s agent has offered the striker to Chelsea, but has since also stated that Spurs are in the race to land the 24-year-old, with contacts ongoing over a potential deal.

However, he added that Tottenham are not keen on paying the €28-30m asking price, so a swap deal could occur involving one of three players, while Louis Girardi tweeted on Monday that Milan are in talks with Chelsea as the transfer saga rumbles on.

According to The Telegraph on Monday, Jose Mourinho is determined to sign a striker to cover for Harry Kane’s injury and is looking at other targets

The English paper claims that one of the alternatives they may consider is Andre Silva, who joined Milan back in 2017 from Porto for a fee that could reach €40m (via Wikipedia).

The Portugal international spent last season on loan at Sevilla after a tough debut campaign at San Siro, and this summer he was loaned to Eintracht Frankfurt for two years as Ante Rebic moved in the opposite direction on the same terms.
