Report: Milan eye young PSV Eindhoven winger as Plan B to Chukwueze

One Bakayoko has left AC Milan this summer, but another one could arrive. In fact, the Rossoneri have PSV Eindhoven winger Johan Bakayoko on their wish list and could make a serious attempt.

One of Milan’s priorities this summer is the right-wing position as both Junior Messias and Alxis Saelemaekers could leave. Christian Pulisic has already been secured by the club but he will most likely also play in the middle, as well as on the left.

As such, an additional right-winger could arrive and Samuel Chukwueze of Villarreal seems to be the main target. According to MilanPress, the negotiations are difficult and Milan have thus lined up PSV winger Johan Bakayoko as an alternative.

The 20-year-old has a price tag of around €25m and another big plus is that he’s Belgian, meaning he wouldn’t take up a non-EU slot like Chukwueze. This would allow Milan to also sign one of Mehdi Taremi and Daichi Kamada.

This past season, Bakayoko got 9 goals and 6 assists for PSV in all competitions (39 appearances).
