Report: Tonali says yes to Milan move; €35m bid could be enough to beat Inter

AC Milan have the approval of Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali regarding a summer move, a report claims, but Inter have made the higher bid.

The Rossoneri continue to be linked with a move for the 20-year-old as they look to strengthen their options in midfield with the imminent departure of Lucas Biglia, and Tonali is a boyhood fan of the club which could help their cause.

Spanish outlet Todofichajes are reporting that Tonali has made it known through his agent Beppe Bozzo that he would be happy to join Milan after enquiries from the Rossoneri management.

However, in order to seal a deal it will be necessary to match Inter’s offer for the Italy international. The Nerazzurri have put €35million on the table to try and win the race for Tonali, but if Milan offered the same sum to Brescia, sources suggest they could overtake their historical rivals and secure the signing of one of the league’s brightest talent.

At the moment however, it seems difficult that the Rossoneri can spend this amount on a central midfielder, as Stefano Pioli has other priorities and a budget that is not yet set.
