Milan were left to rue the absences of Ismael Bennacer, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Theo Hernandez during Wednesday evening’s 2-1 home defeat against Sassuolo and Pioli hinted after the game that the trio might not even recover for the Lazio game.

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reports that Pioli must assess the conditions of some players who missed the match against Sassuolo. The Algerian midfielder has a good chance of making the game, while there is more uncertainty regarding the Swedish striker and the French full-back.

Meanwhile, newspaper il Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) provides a more bleak outlook on things as they report that both Ibrahimovic and Hernandez will be missing against the Biancocelesti, which would of course be a huge blow to the Rossoneri when they need every point they can get in the top four race.
