Reports: Milan willing to pay €5-6m for expiring left-back in January

Juan Miranda has ended up at the top of AC Milan’s wish list for the left-back position. His contract will expire in the summer and the Rossoneri are ready to make a move in January, several reports claim.

Theo Hernandez is currently the only proper left-back in the squad, not including Davide Bartesaghi, and one of Milan’s priorities is to fix that. Therefore, Real Betis’ Juan Miranda has ended up in their sights.

According to Sky Italia, contacts are ongoing for the 23-year-old and Milan are willing to spend €5-6m to get him already in January. Betis wanted €12m for him in the summer but since the renewal talks haven’t been positive, they could settle for half.

Daniele Longo has also confirmed that Milan will make an attempt in January, anticipating the competition. The renewal talks have not been successful for Betis so far and even if a January move gets shut down, the Rossoneri will try to get him in the summer for free.

More updates on the matter should arrive as we get closer to January.
