AC Milan are in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over the potential sale of Lucas Paqueta in January, according to a report.

Following Sunday’s staggering 5-0 defeat away at Atalanta, Gianluca Di Marzio told Sky Italia that PSG have concrete interest in Paqueta, with negotiations already well underway between the two clubs.
Now, Calciomercato.com’s Fabrizio Romano has offered a further update by confirming that talks between the two clubs are indeed well underway, with former Milan sporting director Leonardo the one pushing to bring his compatriot to the French capital.
The entourage of Paqueta and the player himself are interested in the idea of joining PSG, as the former Flamengo star believes he is no longer indispensable for Milan having lost his starting spot, something which has an impact on his desire to be a starter for the Brazilian national team.
Now, the two clubs have to find an agreement. Milan paid €35million plus bonuses to sign him in January, and they would want to at least make their money back on that investment. PSG are expected to make an offer in the coming days.
