Di Marzio: Paqueta negotiations well underway between AC Milan and PSG

By Isak Möller -

After the 5-0 defeat against Atalanta earlier today, it’s clear that the Rossoneri have to do something in January. In order to sign the players they want, they will also have to sell a few.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, who spoke live on Sky Italia (via MilanNews.it), Paris Saint-Germain’s interest in Lucas Paqueta is concrete. In fact, negotiations are already well underway between the two clubs.

Leonardo, the sporting director of PSG, wants to reunite with the young Brazilian after bringing him to Milan in January this year. Per Di Marzio, there are no details on the potential transfer fee, although the Rossoneri won’t give any discounts.

They will ask for at least the amount that they paid to Flamengo (€38m), as the reporter continues. Of course, the sale would be a great source of funding for some new signings, which might be why the leadership is considering the opportunity.
