Mateta is needed now. I don’t know why Allegri still insist on using Nkunku as a striker. He cannot play with his back to goal. Also it makes no sense playing Leao and Nkunku or Leao and Pulisic. That is not working.
If Milan wants to challenge for the scudetto they will need to invest in a CB like Gila and striker like Mateta in January.
They will also need a better backup for Salaemakers. Otherwise we will only finish in the top 4 and waste a good chance of winning the 20th title and 2nd star.

As for attacker, Max would probably need two anchoring strikers. If Fulkrug leaves and Mateta arrives (hypothetically) then we still only have one striker who can do that. And hopefully the Frenchman comes at the expense of either Santi or nkunku.
Signing overpriced 28 years old footballers with unconvincing goal record statistics is not the way to go!
This is going to be another 35 million bust. We’ve seen that all before one too many times.
