MilanNews report that the only player guaranteed of a starting place in the attack is Rafael Leao. Brahim Diaz and Franck Kessie are in a battle to start as the playmaker, while on the right side Junior Messias is the favourite at the moment over Alexis Saelemaekers but it could yet change.
Olivier Giroud is expected to get the nod to start up front therefore and the back four of Davide Calabria, Pierre Kalulu, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez should remain in front of Mike Maignan.
In the middle of the field, Ismael Bennacer has recovered from the ankle problem that made him miss Sunday’s dramatic win over Lazio, and he will and return to team up with the hero from the capital: Sandro Tonali.
