Sky journalist: Milan are ‘all-in on De Ketelaere’ and want to keep Brahim Diaz

Sky journalist Luca Marchetti has insisted that AC Milan will continue with Charles De Ketelaere beyond the short term, and also gave an update on Brahim Diaz.

Marchetti spoke during the ‘Tutti convocati’ segment on Radio 24 (via MilanNews) about Milan’s plans for the playmaker position, stating that the Rossoneri have gone ‘all-in on De Ketelaere’ and while the investment has not paid off yet, Paolo Maldini and co. are ‘not looking at the short term’.

Instead, they know that it is worth waiting for their investments to come good and as a result they will continue to defend them. In addition, Marchetti stated that the Milan leadership also believed in Diaz, so now they ‘are going to talk to Real Madrid about keeping him’.

Diaz seems to have the starting number ten role for the time being while De Ketelaere has been coming off the bench, though last night the Belgian started alongside the Spaniard in a front two against Torino, but both were unable to score.
