Sky: Milan begin contacts over Dortmund striker who could join with Morata

The latest idea to emerge for AC Milan in their pursuit of a new striker is Niclas Fullkrug of Borussia Dortmund, according to a report.

Sky are claiming that the Milan management would like to give Paulo Fonseca two strikers. Alvaro Morata could be the first one, as he has been offered a four-year contract worth €5.5m net per season and remains the primary objective.

Milan have also evaluated the profile of Tammy Abraham who has been ‘requested by Fonseca’ but the directors have not reached an agreement with Roma, mostly because the Rossoneri are trying to include counterparts like Luka Jovic, which does not convince the Giallorossi.

Geoffrey Moncada and co. have begun talks over a deal for Fullkrug who they believe could be the perfect partner for Morata, and the German could think of leaving Dortmund to find more playing time especially after the arrival of Serhou Guirassy.

The 31-year-old scored 16 goals across all competitions last season and added 10 assists for a Dortmund side that reached the Champions League final but lost against Real Madrid, while with Germany he went to the quarter-finals against Spain.

He netted twice at the European Championship against Scotland and Switzerland despite mostly being an option off the bench.
