Sky: Milan do not want to sell Leao; three operations lined up but Maldini and Massara must renew

AC Milan are not going to listen to any offers for winger Rafael Leao, while there is a necessity to resolve the situations of Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara soon.

Gianluca Di Marzio spoke on Sky (via MilanNews) and began by remarking that Milan have no player on the market at present, especially not Leao who they ‘do not want to sell’ after a fantastic season in which he helped the team win the Scudetto.

Milan need reinforcements and the only operation concluded today, even if not officially confirmed, is that of Junior Messias. The Rossoneri and Crotone completed the operation yesterday that will see the Brazilian move permanently for €4.5m plus bonuses. Then there is the Alessandro Florenzi operation to be defined with Roma.

Renato Sanches is secured but Di Marzio adds that Massara and Maldini have not renewed their contract yet despite being 15 days from the end of June and therefore the expiry of their current deal.

It does not have a huge impact given that an operation like that of Messias was completed, but the directors want to sign as soon as possible and understand what kind of budget they have available to sign a defender and a winger.
