Sky report that after the signings of Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic, Milan’s priority is the midfield. In this sense, the club are continuing to work on the signing of Reijnders but they are not finding it easy.
The Rossoneri are insisting on the midfielder, but have to deal with requests from AZ Alkmaar. The Dutch club continue not to accept Milan’s offer, which was most recently raised to €19m plus €4m, getting closer to the €25m demands.
Now, Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada – who are described as being ‘annoyed by the attitude’ of AZ – must evaluate in the coming days whether to make a new bid.
They could also try for other targets on their list such as Yunus Musah, also valued at €25m by Valencia but with his club in more of an urgent need to sell.
