Sky: Milan’s probable XI vs. Cagliari – Reijnders replaces Krunic; new attacking trio

AC Milan could be set to look very different once again for the next match against Cagliari as Stefano Pioli rotates his team and reacts to injuries.

As has been reported by Sky Sport today (via Francesco Nasato), Milan should be switching back to a 4-3-3 after using a 3-4-3 formation against Hellas Verona on Saturday in the 1-0 win.

With Rade Krunic suffering an injury against Verona, Pioli must choose someone else to be in the centre of the midfield three. Whilst many thought it may be Yacine Adli getting a chance, Sky believe it will be Tijjani Reijnders with Ruben Loftus-Cheek on one side and then Yunus Musah or Tommaso Pobega on the other side.

They also think that Christian Pulisic is going to remain in the starting lineup but Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud are going to drop to the bench for Samuel Chukwueze and Noah Okafor, with the latter presumably being the striker.

Probable Milan XI (4-3-3): Sportiello; Florenzi, Thiaw, Tomori, Theo; Loftus-Cheek, Reijnders, Musah/Pobega; Chukwueze, Okafor, Pulisic.
