Milan have been very active thus far this summer and given that they will compete in the Champions League next season, it’s certainly understandable. One of the priorities has been to retain the loanees, including Sandro Tonali.
The Rossoneri have been in talks with Brescia recently to lower the price tag that was set last summer. The 12-month loan cost €10m and the buy-out was set at €15m, plus an additional €10m in bonuses (€35m total).
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, speaking live on Sky Italia (via MilanNews), Milan have managed to obtain a €10m discount as the deal will now cost €25m in cash. The buy-out is now made up by €10m cash and an additional €5m in bonuses.
However, in order to reach this agreement, Paolo Maldini agreed to send Giacomo Olzer to Brescia in return. The Primavera star will join the club on a permanent basis but Milan will have a buy-back clause included in the deal.
