The Rossoneri have been linked with the Englishman in the past and also in the last few weeks, keen on bringing in a centre-back to make up for Alessio Romagnoli’s exit. And as the Charles De Ketelaere deal is seemingly done, they can focus on this.

Sven Botman was the big target for Milan before the start of the summer but after failing to get him, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara changed the strategy slightly. They are now after a cheaper profile, but there is still some spending power.

According to Sky UK’s Dharmesh Sheth, Milan will soon resume talks with Tottenham over signing Tanganga. Spurs are likely to favour a permanent deal even though talks initially were about a loan. Furthermore, Tanganga is pushing for the move.

Milan are most likely willing to accept a permanent formula, as long as the price tag is right.
