Sky: Milan’s probable XI to face Fiorentina – Messias tipped to start in 3-4-1-2

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is expected to slightly change formation for tomorrow night’s game against Fiorentina, a report claims.

According to the latest update from Sky, Pioli should keep the same rearguard of Mike Maignan in goal plus Pierre Kalulu, Malick Thiaw and Fikayo Tomori as the centre-back trio ahead of him.

Rade Krunic is suspended, so in midfield Ismael Bennacer should get the nod from the first minute after coming back from his injury. On the right side Junior Messias is favoured over Davide Calabria and Alexis Saelemaekers at right wing-back, with Theo Hernandez on the other flank.

Brahim Diaz and Rafael Leao will be missing in attack (an injury for the former, suspension for the latter) so Charles De Ketelaere is tipped to start behind Ante Rebic and Olivier Giroud in a 3-4-1-2, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic ready to come on.

Probable Milan XI (3-4-1-2): Maignan; Kalulu, Thiaw, Tomori; Messias, Bennacer, Tonali, Theo Hernandez; De Ketelaere; Rebic, Giroud.
