Gerry Cardinale has made it clear that he won’t rush any decisions regarding AC Milan’s new management, inclined to take more time rather than just getting it over the line.

As also highlighted by Corriere dello Sport this morning, it’s rather telling that Milan sacked their management 14 days ago and haven’t got super close to appointing the replacements. Or at least that’s the view from the outside looking in, with no announcements seemingly imminent.
Despite this, there seems to be no rush at Casa Milan, with Cardinale more inclined to delay the process rather than rushing it. He wants to make the right decision for the future club, knowing that it could be his last try.
Time is running out, or?
According to Sky Italia (via Francesco Nasato), what is leaking from the club at the moment is that the American definitely won’t rush the process. “It’s better to spend an extra day on it than to make a decision that isn’t convincing everyone,” is the message sent.
Of course, for the fans, this is rather frustrating as the Serie A rivals will get quite the head start. Both in terms of preparing for the season with the players, and to make reinforcements on the mercato. As we all know, mercato negotiations have to start well in advance.
