Sky: Performances of Leao could change Milan’s plans for the summer window – the details

The performances of Rafael Leao between now and the end of the season could change Milan’s plans regarding the potential signing of a striker, a report claims.

According to what Sky Italia are reporting (via MilanNews), if Leao proves to give guarantees as a centre-forward and therefore shows that he can be a valid alternative to Ibrahimovic as a first striker, Milan might not even look for a new reinforcement in attack during the summer transfer window.

However, if the Portuguese does not convince the Milan management, then they will return to the market and among the names being considered is Gianluca Scamacca of Genoa – currently on loan from Sassuolo – who will have an audition of sorts against Milan on Sunday.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara had already tried for him in January before deciding to take a gamble by signing free agent Mario Mandzukic, who has struggle with injury since his arrival.
