Sky: Stalemate emerges over Donnarumma talks as Raiola tests the water with other clubs

AC Milan have reached a stalemate in contract talks with goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma due to excessive demands, a report claims.

In his latest for Sky Italia (via MilanNews), Manuele Baiocchini has reported that talks regarding the renewal of Donnarumma are continuing but there is still no turning point. There are currently two solutions under consideration. The first is a two-year extension, and the second is a one-year renewal to postpone the speeches for 12 months and cut out the risk of him leaving for free.

Milan have offered €7million net and while that represents a pay rise, it is not enough for Raiola whose demand is higher. The agent is looking around to see if the interested clubs can make the right offer, and at the moment there is a stalemate because the situation cannot be unblocked. The player for his part has seemingly never done anything but reiterate his desire to stay.
