Leao felt some discomfort a few minutes into the game against Lazio yesterday, so much so that after Ismael Bennacer’s opening goal he was not even able to bring himself to cheer.
According to what out colleagues at SempreMilan.it have learned, Leao underwent instrumental tests this morning which showed an elongation of the adductor muscle of the right thigh. The evolution of the clinical picture will be monitored day by day.
The fact that the situation will be monitored each day is certainly a positive, because a more severe muscle problem would require a check-up in around a week.
Nevertheless, we are no clearer regarding whether the Portuguese winger will be available for the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Inter on Monday, although the information we have suggests that he is likely to be ok for it.
