Reports: Spurs dealt huge injury blow ahead of Champions League tie with Milan

Tottenham have been dealt a big injury blow ahead of their Champions League last 16 tie against AC Milan as Hugo Lloris set to be out for between six to eight weeks.

Milan face off against Spurs in the first leg of the tie on Tuesday night with the Rossoneri battling injuries of their own, but now their opponents also have a pretty big absence to deal with.

As FootballLondon and the BBC are reporting among other sources, Lloris sustained ligament damage following a challenge that came late in the 1-0 win over Manchester City at the weekend and while surgery is not needed, he will miss up to two months and therefore both legs.

Fraser Forster will now be the goalkeeper in place of the Frenchman, and he has made four appearances for Spurs since his arrival, the most recent of which was a 2-2 draw in the Premier League draw against Brentford on Boxing Day.
