GdS: ‘The price is right’ – Milan expecting to complete €35m deal for De Ketelaere today

After two meetings with Club Brugge and constant negotiations, AC Milan have once again raised their offer to Charles De Keteleaere.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reports that Milan have put forward a bid worth €31m as a fixed amount and €4m in bonuses. The Belgian club could ask the Rossoneri for a further effort in terms of how the bonuses are achieved and a potential resale clause, but Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are expecting the green light from Brugge tonight.

Never before has the finish line of this seemingly endless negotiation been so close, the paper writes, and while the deal is not fully closed Milan are absolutely optimistic that the Belgian attacking midfielder will soon be in their ranks.

The player for his part has been pushing for his transfer to Milanello for the past week and an agreement between the player and the Rossoneri has been there for some time over on a five-year deal at around €2.3m net per season.
