Despite saying no to a move to Saudi Arabia earlier, Theo Hernandez could still leave AC Milan to head to the Middle East.

There is something ironic about this summer already. After getting a rich offer from Al-Hilal, Milan began to seek an exit for Theo. However, the Frenchman flat out refused, stating that he wanted to stay in Europe.

Frustrated, the Rossoneri listened to offers from Atletico Madrid, but the Saudi offer was not matched, or even neared. So, just as the Frenchman did, the Rossoneri said no. Now, it seems the Frenchman could become more open to the first option.

Opening up?

There is a threat of no football this season for the left-back. It is not a maybe, and the level of reports suggests that there is a concrete chance that the Diavolo keep him on the bench – or worse – in a World Cup year.

So, it would be better to play in the Saudi Pro League than not at all, especially with several French stars continuing with the National Team after their moves.

As Corriere dello Sport writes, in the past few hours, Al Hilal have contacted all parties to say that the deal is still on the table. Rather than saying no again, though, Theo is now thinking about the move, speaking with his family and agent.
