TMW: Brahim Diaz could receive World Cup call-up but not from Spain

Brahim Diaz could be present at the upcoming World Cup in Qatar but not with the Spanish national team, according to a report.

According to what is being reported by Tuttomercatoweb (via SempreMilan.it), a surprise change in plans could soon arrive for Brahim Diaz who was most likely anticipating spending the World Cup break with the Milan squad.

The report claims that the attacking midfielder could be called up by Morocco for the World Cup after the injury sustianed by Amine Harit, who plays in the same position as the Real Madrid loanee.

The Morocco coach is thinking about asking if Brahim Diaz will represent them as a possible replacement for Harit given that he has dual citizenship.

Brahim appeared to have chosen to represent Spain having made his international debut for them after playing with the youth teams too, however the chance to play at a World Cup might be tempting.
