There was shock and bewilderment from large sections of both AC Milan’s fan base and supporters of the England national team as Fikayo Tomori was not called up for their upcoming friendlies.

He was born in Calgary, Canada to Nigerian parents, but Tomori holds an English passport having grown up in England. He turned 24 years old last December and he is obviously an essential part of Milan’s plans for the future.
He is a fast player who physically and mentally strong, good in the air and in build-up play. With 2,468 minutes already amassed, he is the third most used player this season in terms of minutes with only Theo Hernandez (2,653 minutes) and Mike Maignan (2,640 minutes) ahead of him.
The Englishman has two clear targets in mind: to win the Scudetto with Milan and to establish himself in the English national team. He wants a call-up in view of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Wow, I knew the English selectors were biased to the Premier League but this is just insane. What on earth would he have to do to get a call up, in a season where they’re having loads of injuries and players on poor form.
