Sandro Tonali is now not expected to feature for Italy against England last night in their UEFA Nations League game at San Siro, a report claims.

La Gazzetta dello Sport writes that the midfielder did not take part in the final training session today ahead of the game against England and is therefore not expected to play any role in the match tomorrow night.
Tonali arrived at the Coverciano for the training camp in imperfect physical conditions, as Roberto Mancini had pointed out, but yesterday and the day before that he still trained with the rest of the squad.
He was therefore expected to start against the Three Lions on his home field, but the medical staff have chosen to take additional precautions so as not to risk more serious issues, since it is a muscle problem.
For the match against England, Tommaso Mancini’s first alternative is another Milan player in Tommaso Pobega, without forgetting Davide Frattesi and also Salvatore Esposito was also tried in those areas. Milan meanwhile hope he is fit enough to play Italy’s second match on Monday in Hungary.
