Sandro Tonali continued his trend of making things happen as he scored a winner for AC Milan inside the final 10 minutes against Hellas Verona last night.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes that when Tonali steps onto the field in Verona, something special usually happens and there was no exception on Sunday night as he slotted home a feed from Ante Rebic with composure to earn a very hard-fought win for his side.
It won three golden points after a match with a lot of suffering against a fired up Hellas Verona side, and Tonali of course scored a decisive last May with a brace in a game that launched the team towards their 19th Scudetto.
The more time passes, the more Tonali is becoming an undisputed leader of Milan. What is interesting is that the former Brescia man was about to be replaced to make room for Junior Messias, but just before the change came the goal that made Pioli change his mind.
“Winning matches of this type weighs a lot, we already know it from last season. Plus we wanted to continue to do well away. Even in bad games we manage to take home the victory: we are happy,” Tonali said after the game.
The Rossoneri No.8 then made a comparison between the two goals in May and yesterday’s goal.
“In May it was slightly different, we were in a rush that would have led us towards the Scudetto. But the importance of this victory is not very far from that. A success that weighs a lot for us and for our morale. We are happy for all our fans who always come away, they give us an incredible hand in these matches.”
