Alessandro Florenzi is expected to be given the left-back role against Juventus when the international break comes to an end, a report claims.
As has been reported by Tuttosport (via Milan News), the Italian full-back is going to be used on the opposite flank to usual when Milan host the Bianconeri in what is a huge game.
Theo Hernandez received a yellow card against Genoa which means that he will be suspended for the Juventus match. It does mean that he will be cleared to play against Napoli in the following Serie A match.
With no natural senior leftback in the squad to take his place, Stefano Pioli’s primary choices are Florenzi as a left-back or the young Davide Bartesaghi who has only made one appearance this season.
In a game of this magnitude, it is not a surprise that Pioli will favour the experience of Florenzi rather than the young Bartesaghi.
