Tuttosport: Ibrahimovic drops another hint and sends message to Milan

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s future is yet to be decided. Currently injured, the 38-year-old has returned to Sweden to spend some time with his family, while continuing the recovery phase to be back as soon as possible.

Yesterday, the Swede dropped a new hint on his Twitter page, quoting a Hammarby tweet with the caption “see you on the pitch”. Given that he owns 25% of the club, the message can be interpreted in many different ways.

So, what does this message mean? According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews.it), it’s a way for Ibrahimovic to get Milan’s attention, perhaps making the Rossoneri sweat just a bit.

The ball is now in Ivan Gazidis’ court, as the newspaper continues, as he will sit down with the striker and Mino Raiola to take stock of the future. Most likely, a lot will depend on Ralf Rangnick, who will lead the youth revolution from next season.
