Tuttosport: Milan place €15m offer for talented midfielder after Moncada’s blitz

AC Milan are working on a few signings ahead of the upcoming season and quite a few players have been linked with the club. The latest name to be mentioned in the Italian press is Enzo Fernandez.

The talented midfielder, born in 2001, plays for River Plate and he has attracted the interest of several big clubs lately. He normally plays as a central midfielder and would thus be a good fit for Milan’s midfield tandem.

According to Tuttosport, as cited by MilanNews, Milan are indeed very interested in the player and have placed a €15m offer. This came after Geoffrey Moncada carried out a blitz in Argentina, being a keen admirer of Fernandez.

The Rossoneri have the yes of the player but must reach an agreement with River Plate. It should be added that there is an €18m release clause in Fernandez’s contract, meaning the €15m offer isn’t far off at all. The risk for an auction remains, though.
