AC Milan defender Matteo Gabbia has got plenty of options to leave the club on loan this summer and he may not even be replaced, a report claims.

As has been reported by Tuttosport (via Milan News), the Italian defender is not short of suitors and he could be playing his football elsewhere next season.
He was a peripheral figure for the Rossoneri and whilst no specific teams are named, there is plenty of interest in his services from elsewhere, likely in Serie A.
If he leaves, Milan are unlikely to enter the market for a replacement as they have four centre-backs in Fikayo Tomori, Pierre Kalulu, Malick Thaiw and Simon Kjaer. In a system that uses two central defenders, that is a manageable but risky number.
Stefano Pioli may feel he can dip into the academy were there to be some sort of injury crisis in that area of the squad.
