Tuttosport: Milan player ratings for Inter loss – defensive duo heavily criticised

AC Milan were not at the races again last night as they were beaten 3-0 by Inter in the Supercoppa Italiana in Saudi Arabia.

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) has published their player ratings from the game, starting from the performance by head coach Stefano Pioli (5) who was criticised for the approach taken.

The players with the lowest ratings were Fikayo Tomori, who is ‘completely unrecognisable’ compared to his form from last season, and Theo Hernandez who was ‘dull and not at all incisive’, with both scoring a 4.

The only two outfield players who got a passing grade were Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer, who each got a 6, as well as Ciprian Tatarusanu who stopped Inter inflicting even more damage.

Every other player scored between a 4 and a 6, with Davide Calabria (5), Simon Kjaer (5.5), Junior Messias (5), Brahim Diaz (5.5), Rafael Leao (5) and Olivier Giroud (5.5) all struggling to make their mark.
