Tuttosport: Milan want Arnautovic plus a young striker – the strategy and targets

One of the areas that AC Milan must address in the summer is their attacking department and is seems Marko Arnautovic is on the list of targets.

As Tuttosport (via MilanNews) are reporting this morning, Arnautovic is one of the names that is being evaluated by the management. He has two years on his contract with Bologna and he could arrive as a rotation option, potentially to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Thiago Motta, the head coach of Bologna, actually opened up to the sale of Arnautovic yesterday stating: “If offers arrive for Arnautovic from a team aiming at Europe or playing there, it’s right that he goes.”

The Rossoneri are moving concretely for the 34-year-old Austrian and could soon also present their first offer, but they also know that he cannot be the only signing in attack and for this reason other younger centre-forwards are being monitored.

In particular, Milan’s eyes are on Ligue 1 where the likes of Lois Openda from RC Lens, Hugo Ekitike at PSG and Folarin Balogun of Stade Reims are playing and scoring regularly.
