Tuttosport: Optimism filters as Milan enter final stage of talks over Reijnders

Negotiations between AC Milan and AZ Alkmaar over Tijjani Reijnders are ongoing and the Rossoneri are confident that an agreement can be reached. In fact, a new and improved offer is in the pipeline.

Milan have been in talks with the Dutch side for quite some time and are now on what looks to be the home stretch. Reijnders is pushing for the move and Giorgio Fiurlani knows that the signing is essential for the squad.

As reported by Tuttosport (via SempreMilan.it), the Rossoneri’s second offer of €21m was rejected by the Dutch side who are playing hardball, just like they did when Teun Koopmeiners moved to Atalanta and now also with Milos Kerkez to Lazio.

Furlani is now ready to carry out the negotiations himself and will aim to bridge the economic gap, perhaps with the inclusion of some bonuses. It won’t be easy but optimism is filtering from Casa Milan, with an agreement close indeed.
