Tuttosport: Torino want €30m for midfielder as Milan ponder move amid emergency

Another report has claimed that AC Milan could try to break Torino’s resistance in order to sign Samuele Ricci during the January transfer window.

Stefano Pioli risks finding himself with few options in midfield heading into the new year, starting with the fact that Tommaso Pobega could undergo surgery on a tendon issue and therefore return more towards the end of the season.

Rade Krunić is out of the plans at the moment and could be sold to Fenerbahçe, while Yacine Adli is back out of favour. Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Tijjani Reijnders and Yunus Musah remain but the latter is expected to miss the next game due to a muscle injury, while Ismael Bennacer has returned but looks likely to head to AFCON.

According to Tuttosport, Milan have taken an interest in signing Samuele Ricci from Torino. Their president Urbano Cairo wants to keep him and has set an asking price of €30m, but the sale of Krunic could see the Rossoneri chance their arm.

Formerly of Empoli, the 22-year-old Italian regista has made 12 appearances in the league for the Granata this season, amassing two assists.
