Olivier Giroud drew level with Thierry Henry’s record as France’s all-time top goalscorer as he netted a brace against Australia.
Giroud’s goal from inside the box had given France the lead and he put the game to bed for Les Blues with a trademark powerful header from close range to net his 51st goal for his country and thus draw level with Henry’s record, also becoming the tournament’s joint-top scorer too.
