AC Milan were shocked to so quickly have their lead against Sampdoria wiped out thanks to Fabio Quagliarella’s goal, but it was a matter of minutes before the Rossoneri were back in front.
A great save from Nicola Ravaglia meant that Milan had a corner. It was whipped in and Olivier Giroud rose highest to easily nod the ball into the back of the net.
Sampdoria will be annoyed that they so quickly gave away a goal after such a surprising equaliser.
Milan were immediately then awarded a penalty and it was Giroud again who stepped up to score and make it 3-1.
