Watch: Nightmare minutes for Abraham – sitter missed and injury suffered

Coming off the bench in AC Milan’s game against Udinese on Saturday evening, it quickly went downhill for Tammy Abraham. Right after missing a sitter, the striker suffered an injury and was forced to leave the pitch.

Abraham has largely been a very good signing for Milan, adding energy and intense pressing to the game, which was crucial above all in the derby against Inter. However, with just one goal and plenty of missed chances (including a penalty), improvement is needed.

Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see the latter against Udinese after he came on in the 72n minute. Just three minutes later, he pounced on a rebound from the Udinese goalkeeper but was able to convert from close range. He lost his balance and landed awkwardly, injuring his shoulder in the process.

He was in great pain, as the microphones picked up, and was subbed off in the 77th minute. In other words, it was a nightmare for the Englishman who continues to struggle in front of goal. We can only hope that the injury isn’t too serious, with initial reports confirming that it was just a trauma.
