Giorgio Scalvini has been linked with both AC Milan and Napoli, but Atalanta seem ready to put up a wall in order to keep him.
It was reported by SportMediaset yesterday that Massimiliano Allegri has asked Igli Tare to try for Scalvini, who he rates highly. They even stated that an offer of €15m in cash plus Malick Thiaw as a counterpart was being readied to test Atalanta.

Scalvini to Milan: The situation
Scalvini’s 2024-25 season was not one to remember. First, he recovered from a torn cruciate ligament, then returned to the pitch and underwent surgery for a dislocated shoulder. He made just eight appearances across all competitions. Calciomercato.com confirm Milan and Napoli are keen.
Napoli perhaps have less urgency. They have already finalised the signing of Marianucci from Empoli and have almost done a deal with Bologna for Beukema. However, Antonio Conte would like to have a versatile defender, allowing him to switch to a three-man defence.
Allegri has also asked Tare for a defender with the same characteristics, one who can not only play alongside Strahinja Pavlovic and Fikayo Tomori, but also play in a three-man defence alongside Matteo Gabbia.

Scalvini has long been sought after, his profile 100% fits RedBird Capital’s diktat in terms of age and quality and he would represent a significant investment. He would help the squad list situation too, given he came through an academy in Italy.
Just a year ago, before this troubled season, Atalanta were asking no less than €50m to sell. His contract, expiring on June 2028, puts the Percassi family’s club in a position to continue to aim high, and they have no intention of cutting corners.
In a summer in which both Ruggeri and Retegui have already been sold for a combined €85m, and with rumours swirling of Lookman and Ederson leaving for even higher figures, there’s no need to sell nor lower the demands.

Caldara 2.0. Lets not.
Caldara is good bro ,
LMAO what are you even smoking?
Caldara was a bigger prospect than Bastoni but the injuries he suffered was to much and destroyed his career, Just like Conti.
Retegui is an idiot for going to Saudi
his profile is not redbird profile since he cost over 20 mil…. I don’t think redbird has profiles based on technical qualities as we can see from the profiles in management( Tare excluded from the glory list). Their profile for profile is young and the cost at max 20 to 25 and pray they turn out good so they can sell the player for a profit. Now those clowns are surprised that players are choosing fenerbahce rather than Milan since there is no sporting project for our beloved club. The only targets they have is top 4 and financial scudeto… nothing else
