CorSport: Zakaria not enough for Juventus – their main summer target is Kessie

Juventus still plan to bolster their midfield in the summer transfer window and have set their sights on stealing Franck Kessie from their rivals AC Milan, a report claims.

This morning’s edition of il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes that Juve sealed the signing of Denis Zakaria as an opportunity to replace Rodrigo Bentancur, who in turn joined Spurs in a permanent deal.

However, they are not done there regarding movements for the midfield and the big target for the summer window is Franck Kessie. The Ivorian midfielder’s contract with the Rossoneri is about to expire and he does not seem willing to renew it as things stand currently.

The Bianconeri’s work to bring him north-west to Turin has already started, so much so that there was also talk of a sensational blitz already in January that would have allowed Milan to make some money from his sale, but in the end he remained.
