AC Milan are in the hunt for an attacking midfielder who can play on the right wing and it seems that Hakim Ziyech and Nicolo Zaniolo are the two likely candidates to be signed.
As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, a move for either player would not be straightforward. As for Ziyech, there have been regular contacts between Chelsea and Milan to try and strike a January.

The issue is that the Moroccan star would want a salary of more than €6 million, which is more than the salary cap that Milan had set. There is a lack of willingness between the two clubs for a dry loan deal.
AS Roma’s Zaniolo is a player that Paolo Maldini is immensely fond of but it would be very expensive operation as the Giallorossi do not want to let the Italian leave without receiving a hefty transfer fee. He is also very injury prone.

They’ll never spend for Zyech tho they should. Please don’t get Zaniolo. He is terrible. Every time I see him he is turning the ball over, dribbling way too much. Doesn’t have nearly the skills that he thinks he does.
