Earlier today, La Gazzetta Dello Sport claimed that AC Milan are close to signing Besiktas’ midfielder Jose Sosa, which later was confirmed by the player’s agent.
After Gazzetta’s report, also Sky Italia had their say on the potential transfer, as they confirmed AC Milan are interested in the player, though it’s nothing more than that.
In an interview with Milannews.it, Sosa’s agent confirmed the interest of AC Milan, but he also admitted the operation is difficult.
“AC Milan? The truth is that the operation would be very difficult to perform because Besiktas have a lot of money, plays in the Champions League and they have also lost Mario Gomez.”
“I see it as a very expensive operation because Besiktas want a lot for Sosa, but next week I will be in Italy for other transfer market deals.”
