Joshua Zirkzee continues to impress with his performances for Bologna, and AC Milan are one of the clubs who are interested in signing him as per a report.
Calciomercato.com recall that Zirkzee has eight goals and two assists in 17 games for Bologna this season, and his latest big performance came during Bologna’s win over Inter in the Coppa Italia last night, when he provided two excellent assists for Beukema and Ndoye.
Zirkzee plays with the finishing of a striker, the ball carrying of a number eight and the athleticism of a winger. Some are already comparing him to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but he is working with his head down and Bologna are enjoying his performances.
The Rossoblu signed him from the Bayern Munich youth team for €8.5m plus 35% on future capital gains. Napoli and Milan are already thinking about him ahead of next season, with the Rossoneri in particular looking for a new striker.
Thomas Tuchel is also following his growth from afar, knowing Bayern Munich can take advantage of a clause whereby they have the right to match any offers to try bring him back to Germany, even if the player would like to continue playing in Serie A.
At the moment, no concrete offers have arrived on Bologna’s table, the Rossoblù don’t even want to consider a transfer in January but they know that some offers will arrive in the summer. The valuation is around €40m, but it could increase further.
If Zirkzee was 10 dollars before he’s certainly 40million dollars now. Dude has been growing every game I see him..Vs Inter, the little I saw of him it’s clear he’s a different quality to the rest of his teammates (and even the rest of his teammates are also having the form of those lives too). Him and Ndoye are nice to watch

Zee is a move that makes A LOT of sense given his age and familiarity with the league, but ONLY if Thiago Motta comes with him in the summer. He’s been coaching out of his mind and already beat INTER, while Pioli has failed 5 times in a row now with a better team…
I’d wait for Zee in the summer over Guirassy and/or David in the winter. Giroud, Jovic and Okafor with our wingers can contribute enough to secure Top4 without a winter signing.
