CorSera: Chelsea, PSG and Real Madrid will monitor Milan star at the World Cup

By Isak Möller -

Rafael Leao’s contract will expire in 2024 and AC Milan are working hard on a renewal. The situation is rather complicated, though, and continues to be amid the interest of several big clubs.

The Portuguese winger has been a key player for Milan over the last two seasons, starting this campaign in great fashion with seven goals and nine assists. This hasn’t made things easier for the Rossoneri in the renewal talks.

As reported by Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews), Leao knows just how important the World Cup is for his career. A good tournament would justify his high demands to Milan and the big clubs would surely come knocking in that scenario.

The likes of Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid will be keeping a close eye on Leao during the tournament, per the report. Milan know that a good tournament could be the end of the renewal talks, but also that it could yield a high transfer fee.
