By Isak Möller -

Ahead of the clash between AC Milan and Hellas Verona, which is set to kick off in less than half an hour, Alessandro Florenzi Spoke to the media. The veteran full-back is in the starting eleven, playing on the left flank.

Due to Davide Calabria and Theo Hernandez suffering from fatigue, Stefano Pioli has decided to switch things up for today’s clash against Verona. The Rossoneri will be lining up with a 3-4-3 formation and Florenzi will be the left wing-back.

Speaking to MilanTV, as cited by MilanNews, Florenzi shared his thoughts on what he believes will be a tough match for the Rossoneri. He also gave an update on his own condition, making his first start today.

On the game…

“It won’t be easy, the objective is clear to everyone and we will do everything to achieve it.”

On Verona…Fl

“They have started well, a prepared team. We’ll see if they will continue to try new things against us or if they will change.”

On his own condition…

“I’m well, prepared and we hope to have a good game.”

Florenzi did well off the bench against Newcastle and although that was on the other side of the pitch, Pioli will be hoping for a good display from the veteran today as well. Replacing Hernandez, however, is no easy task.

Speaking to DAZN (via Milan News), Florenzi also spoke about the atmosphere of the team.

“The atmosphere has always been good. It’s obvious that when results are lacking, it’s the group that has to come out. I think we are a group now and we just have to prove it on the pitch,” he said.
