AC Milan produced one of their most dominant displays of the season last night as they beat an already-relegated Sampdoria side 5-1 at San Siro.
This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below) has their ratings for the game, starting with the team’s overall performance which was given a 7 out of 10, and Stefano Pioli’s management which earned a 6.5.
Olivier Giroud was the man of the match as he rolled back the years with a hat-trick and earned an 8, while Theo Hernandez struggled for Samp’s goal and got the joint-lowest score (5.5).
Mike Maignan was given a 6, as were Davide Calabria and Fikayo Tomori in the back four, with Malick Thiaw getting half a mark higher. Sandro Tonali got a 7.5 for an impressive midfield display, while Rade Krunic received a 6.
Junior Messias struggled on the right and got a 5.5, while Brahim Diaz was at the heart of a lot of what Milan created and thus earned a 7.5, as did Rafael Leao.
Alexis Saelemaekers got a 6.5 off the bench, with Charles De Ketelaere receiving a score of 5.5.
