GdS: Nastasic getting closer to Milan as Schalke agree to Rossoneri’s conditions

By Nikita Fesyukov -

AC Milan are observant on the transfer market, with the main focus currently being the reinforcement of the defensive department, seeing as there is a serious lack of alternatives and Kjaer and Gabbia are currently the only two centre-backs at Stefano Pioli’s disposal.

And one of the names targetted by Maldini and Massara is Matija Nastasic, who already featured in Serie A in the past for Fiorentina.

And as reported by Gazzetta dello Sport (via milannews.it), the Serbian international is getting closer to a return to Italy, as Schalke 04 have opened up to the possibility to let the defender go on loan with an option to buy.

In this sense, possible developments could arrive in the coming days, seeing as the transfer market closes on October 5.

Despite this, however, Nikola Milenkovic remains the dream for the Rossoneri. But there is one big obstacle in potential negotiations: an asking price of around 40 million euros. Too many for the club, which is ready to offer a maximum of 20.
