GdS: Probable XIs for Milan vs. Lazio – Pioli to make eight changes

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan will take on Lazio at San Siro and they are in desperate need of three points after drawing their last two games. Therefore, Stefano Pioli will field the strongest starting eleven possible.

The 1-1 draw against Cremonese was indeed disappointing for the Rossoneri, especially since they controlled the game. Once again, though, they proved that they have big issues against defensive teams.

According to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (see photo below), Pioli will field all of the stars for tonight’s game. That means that the likes of Simon Kjaer, Theo Hernandez, Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud will play from the first minute.

Lazio’s important winger Mattia Zaccagni isn’t 100% and it seems he will start on the bench, with Pedro replacing him in the lineup. The former Hellas Verona man is in the squad, though, so he could make an appearance during the game.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo; Tonali, Krunic; Messias, Bennacer, Leao; Giroud.

Probable Lazio XI (4-3-3): Provedel; Marusic, Casale, Romagnoli, Hysaj; Milinkovic, Marcos Antonio, Basic; Felipe Anderson, Immobile, Pedro.
