AC Milan are interested in signing Monaco midfielder Mamadou Coulibaly in an operation that would be similar to that of the Pierre Kalulu signing, a report claims.

Antonio Vitiello of MilanNews confirms the reports that came from La Gazzetta dello Sport yesterday in that the Milan scouts have Mamadou Coulibaly of Monaco’s academy in their sights, who has been compared to Camavinga by many.

The 17-year-old midfielder is a player that the management are very fond of, and he would be available on a free transfer in the summer given that his contract will run out.

It’s a move that would be very reminiscent of Kalulu’s arrival from Lyon without a senior appearance to his name and we all know how successful that has been. Coulibaly is also attracting interest from the likes of Manchester City and Tottenham which shows that he is a talent that is attracting some of the top sides in Europe, meaning the Rossoneri must act fact.
